Inferno Continues Homestand Against Virginia Marauders FC Saturday  

Youth Night Grants Ages 0-18 Free Admission for Double Header at Warwick High School

Lancaster, PA – Lancaster Inferno looks to stay hot after securing two straight wins against Christos FC (May 22) and Northern Virginia FC (May 26). This Saturday, June 1, the Inferno is set to host a double header at Warwick High School. The U23 team will take on Williamsport City Lions at 3 p.m. with the first team squaring off against Virginia Marauders FC at 6 p.m. Access to the rest of the 2024 Inferno schedule can be found HERE.

So far this season, Marauders FC fell to Richmond Ivy FC 1-0 in the first game of the season (May 11), but are on a three-game win-streak since then. They shutout Christos FC 3-0 (May 18), beat Northern Virginia FC 3-1 (May 24) and most recently redeemed themselves against Ivy FC, winning 4-0 on May 26. 

After narrowly losing the first game of the season 1-0 to Eagle FC, the Inferno looks to secure its third-straight win in the USL W League Saturday. Forward Kayla Keefer (Central Columbia HS/Ole Miss) has been on fire for the Inferno offense and was named the Lusk & Associates “Player of the Match” last game, being part of every goal this season (3 goals, 2 assists). Goalkeeper Ellie Breech has had exceptional saves in net and will make her return Sunday after missing last game. Access to the full 2024 Inferno roster can be found HERE.
