On May 24, during Lancaster Inferno’s 2026 home opener, the club proudly recognized Jaimie Ames as a Hometown Hero – honoring a lifetime dedicated to service, advocacy, and healing.

Jaimie is the Founder and President of Operation Host, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting active-duty military members and veterans who have experienced military and non-military related sexual assault. Through compassion, resources, and peer support, Operation Host has already helped nearly 500 service members and veterans begin their recovery journeys since its founding in 2024.

The 2026 home opener has arrived for Lancaster Inferno. This Sunday, May 24 at 7:00 PM, Lancaster Inferno returns to Penn Medicine Park to host Eagle FC in another chapter of the growing rivalry between the two clubs.

Lancaster Inferno has announced its coaching staff for the upcoming 2026 women’s pro-am season, featuring returning leadership, internal promotions, and experienced additions across both the First Team and U23 squad.

Founded in 2008, Lancaster Inferno has become a cornerstone of women’s soccer in Central Pennsylvania – focused on developing players and creating pathways to the next level. That mission was fully on display on May 9 during the Kick It Forward Cup against Richmond Ivy, when multiple players from within the club’s developmental system earned opportunities with the senior team in a high-level pre-professional environment.

Lancaster Inferno is proud to announce that forward Ricshya Walker has signed her first professional contract with Sporting FC in Costa Rica’s Women’s First Division, marking the next step in her playing career.

Lancaster Inferno is proud to announce that former standout Taylor Mentzer has signed her first professional contract, becoming the latest player to progress through the club’s pathway to the professional game. Mentzer, who competed with Inferno from 2022–2024, has signed with Logan Lightning FC for the 2026 Football Queensland Premier League 1 season in Queensland, Australia.

We’re hosting our fourth annual soccer skills clinic during winter break for girls ages 7-16. The clinic will feature some of the stars from Lancaster Inferno which include college players, along with aspiring and former professionals.

Lancaster Inferno has partnered with Soccer Shots of Lancaster/Lebanon to deliver updated and expanded programming for young players. Soccer Shots offers programs for boys and girls ages 2-8 years old. Their programs from MINI to PREMIER allows for kids to develop their skills and enjoy learning new skills. Both organizations will collaborate on camps, clinics and other offerings. The addition of Soccer Shots in Inferno’s player pathway, provides a seamless transition for girls who are ready to play travel soccer.

Professional Baseball Team, Lancaster Stormers, invited Lancaster Inferno to be recognized at their game on Sunday, July 6th at Penn Medicine Park. Lancaster Inferno played their USL W League matches at Penn Medicine Park this summer featuring primarily current college players and aspiring professionals. The new venue provides fans a fun atmosphere to watch soccer.

Lancaster Inferno fell to Northern Virginia FC at home 2-3 with goals scored by forward Anouk Landgroff and player of the match Carsyn Boyer. In what was an unfavorable outcome, Inferno’s performance made a strong statement towards where they are heading in the USL W League.
