Lancaster Inferno partners with CASA to launch a Summer Women’s League

Lancaster, PA — Lancaster Inferno is thrilled to announce a new partnership with CASA Soccer Leagues, marking an exciting development for women’s soccer in Lancaster, PA. Through this collaboration, Lancaster Inferno and CASA will bring a 7v7 recreational Women’s Inclusive league starting in June (see more details below). This will expand the reach of women’s soccer and provide enriching opportunities for players of a variety of skill levels in the Lancaster community.

“We are very excited to offer this opportunity for women soccer players in our area,” said Executive Director, Stephanie Cleaves. “As we celebrate our 10th year operating a pre-professional women’s soccer team, we are proud to provide additional ways to promote women’s soccer in Central PA.”

Earlier this year, CASA and Philadelphia Union announced a partnership to launch an adult recreational soccer league. Most recently, they kicked off an 11v11 men’s league in Lancaster. CASA Soccer League is currently the largest independent amateur soccer league in the region, and is active in Philadelphia, South Jersey, Boston, and Lancaster. In 2023, CASA welcomed over 18,000 members, registered 500 teams, and had 70 countries represented amongst players throughout the league.

“This is CASA’s first ever women’s league expansion outside of Philadelphia, which is a huge milestone for us,” said Women’s Inclusive Soccer Director, Kristin Lepley. “We’re extremely honored to partner with Lancaster Inferno to grow the women’s soccer opportunities for all skill levels in a new location.”
