The Lancaster Inferno was victorious against New York Athletic Club (NYAC), the top team in the Tri-State Division of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL). The Inferno dominated the game and had a 1-0 lead early on with a goal by newcomer, Adrienne Yoder. NYAC tied the game just before halftime.
Lancaster continued to dominate the second half of the game with a nice goal by Heather Tran, followed by another goal by the unstoppable Adrienne Yoder. NYAC ended up with a second goal and the game ended with a 3-2 win.
