June 13, 2025 – Lancaster Inferno secured a 3-0 win at home against Virginia Marauders with goals from Lydia Gable, Annabelle Wunderlich, and Rischya Walker.
Marauders created their first opportunity within the first 15 minutes, but defender Delaney Bittner slid in front of the ball and blocked the shot.
Despite the first half remaining scoreless, Lancaster opened up the scoring tab early in the second half with a goal by forward Lydia Gable following a corner taken by midfielder and captain Rachel Eberly. Forward Richya Walker headed the ball to Gable, and she volleyed it cleanly putting Lancaster up 1-0.
Following Gable’s goal, Marauders forward Elodie Metho dribbled in the box forcing goalkeeper Kamryn Stablein to come off her line and make a critical save. Stablein ended the game with a total of five saves.
Another opportunity came for Lancaster in the 75th minute from forward Ricshya Walker passing to Annabelle Wunderluch who touched around Marauder center back, taking a right footed shot making it past goalkeeper Alexis Wolgemuth.
In the 86th minute forward Rischya Walker, took a right footed shot outside the 18-yard-box making it 3-0 to end the game.

Inferno kicked off the beginning of the USL W League season with a 4-0 win against Patuxent FC with midfielder Carsyn Boyer, forwards Lydia Gable and Mackenzie Mentzer, and defender Ryelle Shuey securing Inferno first win of the season.
Patuxent FC is currently in fifth place with a 0-6-0 record.
