U.S. Soccer 11v11 Grassroots Course

Lancaster Inferno to host USSF Coaching Course at Listrak

Lancaster, PA — Lancaster Inferno is proud to host a U.S. Soccer Coaching Course in conjunction with Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA) on Sunday, December 14th. The in-person course will be held at Listrak (Lititz, PA) from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM.

The 11v11 In-Person Course is a four-hour course that builds on the principles covered in U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module. Specifically, coaches will learn more about U.S. Soccer’s Grassroots Coaching Education Philosophy, Play-Practice-Play Methodology, the Six Tasks of a Coach, and the characteristics of players aged 12-18. The course will also ask each coach to reflect on their experiences to develop action steps for personal growth in the Six Tasks (Coaching Games, Coaching Training Sessions, Leading the Team, Leading the Player, Managing the Performance Environment, and Leadership).​

The course is led by U.S. Soccer Grassroots Coach Educator/Lancaster Inferno Youth Technical Director, Wendell Hannaford.

Eligibility Requirements: In order to register for the 11v11 In-Person Course, candidates must be at least 16 years old* and have completed U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to Grassroots Coaching module. This module can be accessed here.

*Due to online privacy laws, individuals under the age of 16 cannot create Learning Center (LC) profiles, and thus are unable to take Grassroots Courses.
