Open Tryout for 2025 Women’s Teams
Lancaster Inferno is holding an open tryout for the upcoming 2025 season. The tryout will take place on Monday, December 30th from 12-2pm at Spooky Nook Dome in Manheim, PA.
Lancaster Inferno’s First Team competes at the pre-professional level in the USL W League which is an extension of the USL Super League (Division I professional soccer). Rosters are composed of aspiring/former professionals, current/post college players, and high school standouts. Both teams compete from May through July.
A HISTORY OF SUCCESS
Lancaster Inferno has a history of success with their women’s soccer program. The First Team has won three UWS East Conference Championships (2023, 2019 & 2018), and advanced to three National Championship tournaments. In their inaugural season in the USL W League, Inferno qualified for playoffs falling to the 2024 National Champions, NC Courage U23, in the first round. Lancaster Inferno’s U23 Team are 3x champions of the UWS2 Mid-Atlantic North Conference (2021-2022 & 2024).
FIRST TEAM – Primarily composed of aspiring and former professionals and college players. Our goal: A national championship title in USL W League.
U23 TEAM – Primarily composed of current and former college players. Our goal: A conference championship title.

OPEN TRYOUT
Date: Monday, December 30, 2024
Location: Spooky Nook Sports (75 Champ Blvd, Manheim, PA 17545). The tryout will be on turf inside the dome/bubble.
Check-In: 11:15-11:45 AM
Time: 12:00-2:00PM
Cost: $35
- No tryout fee for current and former players from Lancaster Inferno’s First Team, U23, and U20 Teams. ALL players (former and new) must register online in advance.
