Ryelle Shuey Named to USL W League Team of the Month

On Wednesday, July 3rd, the USL W League announced the Team of the Month for June 2024, honoring the league’s top performers for the month of June.    

Out of hundreds of players in nine divisions, one of Lancaster Inferno’s defenders, was named to the team. Ryelle Shuey (Lehigh University) has been with Inferno since 2018 when she was entering her senior year of high school and she has been a positive, steady presence since she joined.

Ryelle Shuey, Lancaster Inferno – Ryelle Shuey was the cornerstone of Lancaster’s defense last month. The center back played every minute of all eight matches and conceded only four times while scoring a goal of her own against Patuxent.

Ryelle joined Lancaster Inferno the very first year that Inferno made it to the National Championship and has been with the team for all three national championship appearances.
