Winter Skills Clinic1 Nov 2022Lancaster Inferno is hosting a one-day soccer skills clinic during Winter Break for girls ages 7-15. The clinic will be led by a few of the stars from Lancaster Inferno’s UWS team, including Ryelle Shuey (Lehigh), Teresa Rook (JMU), Kayla Mesaros (St. Johns), and Jackie Richards (Campbell).

Marissa DiGenova signs with Puerto Rico Sol1 Sep 2022Lancaster Inferno is excited to announce that co-captain Marissa DiGenova has signed with Puerto Rico Sol. Marissa has been a part of Inferno’s First Team since 2018, and a standout in the United Women’s Soccer (UWS) national pro-am league. She helped lead Lancaster Inferno to back-to-back National Championship appearances (2018-2019) and three East Conference Playoffs.

2022 All-United Women’s Soccer Awards11-16-2022The bow will officially be tied on the 2022 United Women’s Soccer (UWS) season with the announcement of our annual All-UWS Awards. This past season in UWS was one of measured & sustained growth, as 49 teams competed within 9 divisions across the United States and Canada.
2022 UWS East Conference Awards08-25-2022The United Women’s Soccer East Conference provided high-level entertainment throughout the season, with three competitive division races ensuring playoff berths came down to the wire. Ultimately, FC Buffalo emerged as the conference’s champion for the first time, thanks to Offensive Player of the Year Carissima Cutrona and Coach of the Year Nikki Bartholomew. Rochester Lancers’ Katie Cappelletti claimed the award for the conference’s best goalkeeper, while Marcela Robinson of Coppermine United emerged as the Defender of the Year.
