Kramer Field Grand Opening this Saturday

Lancaster, PA – A newly installed synthetic turf field is coming to the area on Saturday, April 5, with the opening of Kramer Field, located on the grounds of Listrak Inc. at 100 W Millport Rd, Lititz, Pa 17543.

The field was carefully planned and funded by Listrak co-founders, Howard and Ross Kramer, and is available for the entire community. In addition, Kramer Field is the official home of Lancaster Inferno’s all-girls soccer club which fields teams from U9 through the women’s pre-professional level.

Beginning at 9:40 am there will be a short dedication ceremony followed by the field’s very first game when Lancaster Inferno FC’s U10 team kicks off at 10:00 am, and a second game with Inferno’s U12 team at 11:10 am.

All are invited to join the grand opening celebration and congratulate the Kramers for their exceptional contribution to the community. Travelin’ Tom’s food truck will be onsite with coffee, specialty drinks, and pastries from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm. Come check out the new field, and don’t forget your game day chairs to enjoy a morning of soccer!

ABOUT KRAMER FIELD

The high quality synthetic turf field is lined for 7v7 and 9v9, and to accommodate a full width 11v11 half field. It was specifically designed for Under-12 and younger players to train & play games on a top notch surface, while also allowing for older aged players to train.

“It’s very rare to find a synthetic field built specifically for the U12 and under age groups,” said Lancaster Inferno President, Francisco Cleaves. “This is such an important age for kids to develop their skills and we believe this facility will help give them an advantage in their soccer development. Ross and Howard have been great soccer supporters and the building of this turf field demonstrates their continued support for the soccer community.”

Howard Kramer, Listrak COO added, “Before the field was built, the young girls at Lancaster Inferno have been using the open space here as their home field for the last two years. We constantly worked on it and tried to make it better but finally decided that putting in a synthetic field was the best long-term option for the club and the community. We want the greater soccer community to take advantage of this facility and invite them to use it when it is available. I want to thank all the contractors that helped us to bring this vision to fruition in time for the spring season.”

In addition to the younger ages playing games at Kramer Field, Lancaster Inferno will be running their 7v7 Women’s Soccer League on Tuesday evenings this spring. The field is open to the community and available for organizations to book their rentals.
