The long trip to Long Island for a midweek game did not slow down the Lancaster Inferno as they came back home with a 2-1 win over the Rough Riders. The Inferno (4-1-0) notched its 4th consecutive win and second over the LI Rough Riders (4-4-0) in a span of 4 days.

Lancaster Inferno shut out the high scoring Long Island Rough Riders offense this past Saturday at Millersville University – Pucillo Field. After a two week layoff Inferno took some time to adjust to the game speed but was able to sustain the offense and work as a unit on defense to secure the win.

For the second straight game, the Lancaster Inferno outshot it’s opponent (15-8), but was only able to capitalize once to down New Jersey Copa FC on Saturday, June 1st. in New Jersey.

Lancaster Inferno came out strong at their home opener on May 25, outscoring Syracuse DA 3-2 at Millersville University Pucillo Field in front of over 300 fans.
